• Visit Chelsea Physic Garden. This 'Secret Garden' is a centre of education, beauty and relaxation. Founded in 1673 by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries, it continues to research the properties, origins and conservation of over 5000 species. • Take a tour inside the Royal Albert Hall. Highlights include the breathtaking auditorium, a look inside the Queen’s Box and an action packed presentation of the range of events that take place. The National History Museum celebrates a century since the first aircraft was built and flown by a Romanian – Aurel Vlaicu. The exhibition named “Romanian Aviation 1910-2010” is opened from June 17^th till September 1^st.

On the 30^th of July, Senegalese singer Youssou N’Dour, who mixes the traditional drum based rhythms of his homeland with the more funky sounds of West Indies, brings his great music to Arenele Romane.

HERMAN OLIVERA and El Tumbaito Band will perform within the Romanian Salsa Festival 2010 on the 08^th August in Bucharest at Arenele Romane.

Stansted  

• By public transport: The Stansted Express train runs every 15 minutes to Central London (Liverpool Street station). Travel time is 45 minutes. We suggest taking the Stansted Express to Tottenham Hale, changing to the Underground – Victoria line for 2 stops to Finsbury Park then the Piccadilly line direct to Earl’s Court.
• By taxi (airport taxi): approximately GBP 80.00, estimated travel time 1½ – 2 hours, depending on traffic.

 

• By public transport: A free shuttle service operates between the airport and Luton Parkway station. Trains from there to London Kings Cross take 25 minutes. Then Underground (Piccadilly line) direct to Earl’s Court.

From July 03 until September 12, 2010, the Vienna City Hall Park is a pulsating meeting point for classical fans and night owls – with lots to please the palate as well as free film shows. • A basis glossary for all friends of Viennese coffee:
  Brauner: black coffee served with a small jug of coffee-flavoured cream. Can be large (Großer Brauner) or small (Kleiner Brauner).
  Einspänner: Mokka served in a glass instead of a cup, with a crown of whipped cream on top.
  Doppelter: double espresso.
  Wiener Melange: half coffee and half hot milk, topped with milk foam or whipped cream. Can be sweetened with sugar or milk.
  Schwarzer: plain strong black coffee. Can be large (Großer Schwarzer) or small (Kleiner Schwarzer).
  Verlängerter: blander variety of a Brauner, weakened with a little hot water and served with milk instead of cream.
